We invite you to take part in the International scientific and practical conference entitled: “PIRLS INTERNATIONAL EVALUATION PROGRAMME: THEORY AND PROSPECTS OF ITS IMPLEMENTATION”. The conference will be held: March 13, 2020, Tashkent city, Republic of Uzbekistan Purpose of the conference: Studying international experience and preparing schools of the Republic of Uzbekistan for participation in international programmes for assessing the educational achievements of students. The international scientific-practical conference will discuss topics related to the following areas: 1. International comparative studies in the system of assessing the quality of primary education 2. The methodology and criteria for assessing the quality of general education in secondary educational establishments based on the practice of international studies of the quality of training students. 3. The theory and practice of assessing reading literacy in countries with different educational systems. 4. New approaches to assessing the quality of knowledge of primary schoolchildren. Teachers, young scholars, doctoral students and post-graduate students of universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan and foreign universities, teachers of colleges and schools are invited to participate in the conference.
